Taylor Tiernan is a world history and ELA teacher. She has served as an officer in the U.S. Army and she was a newspaper reporter before that. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing from Salem State University, Mass., and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Austin Peay State University, Tenn.
Growing up with a father who claimed

Growing up with a father who claimed to be a time traveler, Tiernan has always been drawn to fantastical stories. Recently she drew inspiration from her daughter, who, as a toddler, claimed to be a dragon before she was born, weaving stories about the “bad” Amba and the “good” Amba.
